Hello, Unconventional, My Old Friend
This blog has been renamed from The Unconventional Newlywed to simply, The Unconventional. The URL has also changed to match my personal website (stacimorrison.com).
One can only masquerade as a newlywed for a short time, even online where nobody can see the weight of experience dragging me down (I kid, OF COURSE, my darling husband! I love it all). Seven years and two kids into the thing, newlywed is somehow more laughable than it was in the beginning when I first agreed to take the title.
Pardon me while I go through a minor identity crisis as I debate what to to do with myself now that I'm no longer a disillusioned newlywed and struggle to come to terms with the reality of (still) being a disillusioned average woman without a quaint title to indicate the freshness of my life experiences against the backdrop of my old soul crankiness.
