Relationship perks to decorate my school binder

       Alex has been donating religiously to the Obama campaign. On a near daily basis, he will be rocking in his old man's rocking chair, scrolling innocuously though his phone, then abruptly stop, look up to me and inquire, "Hey, babe, do you mind if I donate another $10 to Obama?" 

       His loyalty finally earned him a bumper stick and fridge magnet of his choice. The items arrived this week; the magnet as expected, the bumper sticker, not so much. He instead got one he never would have chosen, not even as a tacky gift for me, which means that's exactly what it is!  I didn't personally donate a dime and still get a fancy propaganda piece. Win for me? I'd say so.
